Monroe Park Closed

Monroe Park at 43rd Ave & Monroe St is temporarily closed.  The reason: excessive pet waste!

Many of our residents have acquired a four-legged friend or two in recent months. Dog and cat ownership comes with responsibilities including keeping them on a leash and cleaning up after them (required by County and Town ordinances - $50 fine). Colmar Manor has 10 pet waste stations throughout the community for your convenience and is looking to install more (map available at www.colmarmanor.org).  There's a pet waste station at the entrance to Monroe Park.

We hope to reopen the park soon.

Paid Workforce Training Opportunity 2/9/2022

  Residents,   Washington Gas’ has an outstanding paid utility and construction training career opportunity that is scheduled to start on February 14th (see the attached Utility and Construction Training Program). Training slots are still available. The Prince George’s Community College’s Team Builders has asked us to help them identify participants.
